Job Description: BID MANAGER – MAIN CONTRACTOR
Location: DUBLIN
Salary: €75-80k guide + Car / Allowance & Benefits
CapEx are recruiting on behalf of leading Main Contractor who are strengthening their pre-construction team and are seeking a Bid Manager to oversee the technical submissions and co-ordinate the bid team for major construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experience Bid Manager or a Bid Writer looking for career progression.
THE ROLE:
- Produce tender responsibilities Matrix and allocate duties/ request additional resource if required.
- Review tender deliverables matrix produced by proposals team, and allocate owners and review progress.
- Arrange and Chair weekly review meetings and issue notes/ actions.
- Preparation of content of the tender interview presentations.
- Manage the bid budget
- Attend and chair tender adjudication / mid bid risk reviews.
THE PERSON:
- Ideally has a background in tendering and experience of bid management from opportunity identification through to project win, and will provide valuable input into opportunity qualification, win strategies, commercial discussions and design solutions
- Must be comfortable working at a senior level and interacting with customers at senior management level
- Ideally from a construction bid / technical background, but may consider somebody with previous experience from another industry with strong presentation & marketing skills.
