Job Description: Site Manager (Residential)
Location: Kildare
Salary: €55-60k guide
Capex are recruiting on behalf of a Construction Group who are commencing a 100 unit residential development in Co Kildare in the coming months.
This will be a housing development using offsite manufactured frame and the company has a trusted groundworks contractor to take the project out of the ground through to finished floor slab.
In addition to the coordination of the early phases of the project, you will have a strong background in finishes.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Overseeing construction operations in Kildare on a day-to-day basis.
- Ensuring that work complies with building regulations.
- Working with an appointed safety consultant to ensure all safety regulations are being adhered to.
- Carrying out weekly safety checks and ensuring appointed sub-contractors are adhering to safety protocol.
- Monitoring the construction programme and enabling the subcontractors to carry out their works in accordance with the contract programme.
- Notifying the Contracts Manager of any deviation in the Programme.
- Ensuring quality checks are carried out at various stages of the build.
- Liaising with Local authority representatives and assigned certifiers to obtain handover of completed phases.
- Dealing with any day-to-day problems which could hold up work as they arise.
- Liaising closely with the Contracts Manager at all times.
- Working closely with junior staff, Sub Contractors, engineers, and external utility companies.
- Updating and reporting back regularly on progress.
- Ensuring quality checks are carried out at various stages of the build.
- Liaising with residents and keeping them updated on progress and upcoming milestones.
