THE COMPANY – CapEx are recruiting on behalf of an innovative company based in the West of Ireland who provides tailor made Renewable Energy Solutions empowering the transition to a low carbon future.
The company offers a range of solutions and provides a turnkey services, evaluating / auditing the clients current energy usage and providing a bespoke range of products services to provide a low carbon and cost effective solution to future energy usage.
The company is open to somebody who has experience in this sector with knowledge of CEM Energy Auditing or alternatively somebody with a construction / engineering background looking to move into this area and gain additional training / qualifications to fulfil the role.
THE ROLE:
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement energy-specific projects while maintaining safety, environmental and company standards and procedures
- Actively engage with perspective clients and prepare comprehensive and accurate tender bids including quotations and proposals
- Complete energy Audits to SEAI standards
- Assessing suitable sites for solar PV development through various mapping tools, site feasibility studies, energy yield analysis, project budget and cash flow analysis.
- Work with Energy management partners to deliver projects providing direct energy benefits and innovative funding options (grants/credit schemes)
- Collate data and reports for energy efficient initiatives and energy procurement
- Manage project life cycles from initiation to closure, reporting on all project risks and ensuring management is fully abreast of any significant developments
- Display strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
- Actively manage positive relationships with external stakeholders while representing the company in a professional manner
- Proactively develop technical skills, knowledge and keep pace with new developments that will inform the procurement process
- Ability to mentor junior staff
Requirements
- Minimum 7 – 10 years’ experience in a similar role or in another Engineering field
- Minimum Level 8 Degree in an Engineering discipline preferably Energy Engineering or a related field (Civil Engineering, Architectural / QS or Building services)
- Additional Qualification in CEM Energy Auditing or SEAI Audit accreditation would be a distinct advantage
- Strong project management skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work within and apply ISO standards
- A high level of motivation and a friendly manner to enable effective and positive engagement with colleagues, and key stakeholders.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Clean full driving licence
