Job Description: BID WRITER – MAIN CONTRACTOR
Location: DUBLIN
Salary: €55-65k guide + Car / Allowance & Benefits
BID WRITER / PROPOSALS ENGINEER / PREQUALIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL SUBMISSIONS / QUALITY SUBMISSIONS / TECHNICAL WRITING / MARKETING & MEDIA / JOURNALISM
CapEx are recruiting on behalf of leading Main Contractor who are strengthening their pre-construction team and are seeking a Bid Writer to be part of the team responsible for technical / quality proposals, bid writing and prequalification submissions for major construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for either somebody from a construction / technical / engineering background or somebody from a marketing / media / journalism background seeking a career change.
THE ROLE:
- Be responsible for inputs on technical submissions / prequalification questionnaires on major construction projects.
- Responsible for tasks allocated from the deliverables matrix produced by proposals team, and deliver to the required level.
- Part of team preparing content of pre-qualification documents, technical / tender submissions and tender interview presentations.
THE PERSON:
- Strong communication & presentation skills
- Ideally some bid writing / technical proposals background but may consider somebody with previous experience from another industry with strong presentation & marketing skills.
- Use of Adobe InDesign or similar
- Background in Construction / Engineering / Marketing & Media or Journalism considered
