CapEx are recruiting an M&E Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a leading Irish engineering leading firm. This is a permanent, Dublin-based position, where you will be site-based within Dublin on one of the company’s landmark projects.

Our Client is a Top Tier Engineering Contractor, who provide a wide variety of solutions to household name clients throughout Europe and beyond. They have in excess of 50 years of industry experience and have a number of offices both within Ireland and worldwide.
About the role;
- Site-based position within Dublin
- Become part of a leading engineering firm
- Gather experience working on a landmark project
- Circa €65,000 – €70,000 Salary
Your main duties will include, but not be limited to;
- Negotiating M&E variations
- Provide MEP procurement advice
- Preparation of project valuations
- Prepare and analyse tenders and subcontract tender submissions.
- Provide support to the overall Senior Management commercial functions
- Agree on regular valuations with the main contractor
- Monitor and assess subcontractor costs in aid of the management team
- MEP specialist cost research
- Create in-depth financial forecasts, statements and reports
- Attend client, design team and site meetings
- Review, consider and analyse risks and opportunities
- Post contract cost control
- Manage overall Cost Management Services
- Assist in the preparation of overall forecasts and targets
To be successful in your application you will possess the following;
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
- 4+ Mechanical and or Electrical experience required
- Proven experience in a similar role
