CapEx are recruiting on behalf of a Leading Civil Engineering Company with over 50 years of experience in their sector. They are looking to bring in a Planner to join their Munster Based Team on a permanent basis.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will:
- Ensure that full suite of integrated and coordinated design, procurement and construction programs are prepared in conjunction and agreement with design, procurement and construction disciplines within the project team.
- Contribute to input on the Risk Register, on all aspects related with the project performance, and will lead the elaboration of the migration plans to arrest any deviation
Responsibilities:
- Provide a full suite of integrated and coordinated design, procurement and construction programs for the project including resource requirements and histograms where appropriate.
- Ensure that all programs meet the requirements of and are compliant with the contract and the overall target design, procurement and construction program
- Ensure that all programs reflect the developed scope of work agreed by the project team
- Provide feedback on the effects of change, variations or delays including forecasting and communicating the effects of such changes and the evaluation of options to deal with such changes. This will include the implementation of recovery programs and planned mitigation measures.
- Monitor progress on all programs to provide information on the status of the project with regard to the percentage of work done against planned.
- Programs should be prepared using Primavera software to their maximum potential.
- Contribute to HSE Management on Site
- Analyse Construction Output against costs.
Job Requirements:
- Working stability in first class construction or engineering companies, ideally in Ireland
- Experience working on projects with a value of over 100 Million Euros
- Experience in Design and Build
- Experience in Building SOLO.
- Proficiency in Primavera or similar software and be able to integrate in BIM 4D would be an advantage
- Dynamic and hands on
