Role: Senior QS / Commercial Manager– Civils Contractor (Sweden)
CapEx are recruiting on behalf of a respected Civil Engineering Contractor who have ongoing work in Ireland and Internationally. They are looking to bring in an experienced QS who can operate at Senior QS / Commercial Manager level overseeing projects in Sweden. This is an excellent opportunity with an established Civil Engineering Contractor. Attractive salary, flights, accommodation and living allowances provided.
The company has secured a large renewable energy project in Sweden and is looking for a commercial lead to report into the Regional Director and represent their interests on the scheme.
About the Role ..
- Management of risk and opportunities on the scheme
- Financial reporting including CVRs,
- Budget forecasting & maximising cash flow
- Client liaison
- Materials procurement and management of the supply chain.
You shall have…
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent client liaison skills,
- Capability to work on your own initiative
- Extensive understanding of the civil engineering infrastructure industry,
- Flexibility and have a talent for negotiation.
You will ideally possess the following:
Degree qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Surveying or Commercial Management
Ideally 8+ years’ Commercial experience working for a main contractor with a civil engineering background and experience with various types of contract forms
Salary Guide: Excellent Salary & package negotiable, flights, accommodation and living allowance depending on level of experience
