Civils Estimator

€80,000 – €100,000 + Package (Negotiable)

A well-established civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Civil's Estimator to join their growing team.

The business has built a fantastic reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure and utility projects across Ireland and currently has a strong pipeline of secured framework agreements already in place, ensuring long-term project stability.

This role offers a genuine opportunity to grow within the organisation. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and play a key role in the pre-construction and tendering process, with the potential to progress into a more senior position and help oversee the estimating function as the department expands.

The company operates across a range of infrastructure sectors including water and wastewater networks, utilities, roadworks and public realm projects, delivering technically complex civil engineering schemes nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of detailed cost estimates and tender submissions

• Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documentation

• Identifying project risks and opportunities during the tender stage

• Liaising with supply chain partners and subcontractors for pricing

• Working closely with senior management and project teams during pre-construction

• Supporting strategic planning of upcoming frameworks and infrastructure projects

Requirements

• Experience working as a Civil's Estimator within a contractor environment

• Strong understanding of civil engineering and infrastructure projects

• Experience pricing utilities, infrastructure, roadworks or similar civil's projects

• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with senior management
